Volunteer For FLOOF

There's more to FLOOF, than meets the eye. The dogs that we rescue, are only a part of the story. Behind the scenes there is a small army of volunteers , that make the rescue work.

In addition to the foster homes and forever homes for the dogs, we are looking for help in the following roles :-

HOMEcheckers

To make home visits to check that potential foster and forever homes are suitable.

Full training given, and normally only in your local area. Requires people skills, and a bit of paperwork (which is now all online).

ROAD TRAins

We rely on a network of volunteers to transport our dogs across the UK.

You will need a suitable vehicle (preferably with air con), with room to hold a crate or a seatbelt to restrain the dogs in the back.

We are able to offer a contribution towards your petrol.

Fundraising and events

In the coming year, we will be expanding our fundraising and events team.

We will need people to man stalls at local fetes and country shows. It will involve talking to the public, and possibly some selling. We'll be organising charity dog walks, and other fundraising events. Volunteers very welcome.

We also require people to help with admin tasks, and to help run some of our regional groups.
